How to measure for a slip-on Martingale Collar

For Sighthounds: Measure around your dog’s neck where you’d like the collar to sit. Sighthounds’ heads are typically smaller than their necks so this will allow the collar to fit without being too loose.

For all other breeds: Measure around your dog’s head at the widest point. This is usually around the ears or slightly in front of the ears. This will ensure that the slip-on collar is large enough to fit over your dog’s head.
